INFODEMIC
project overview
In 2020, the World Health Organisation declared Covid-19 as a global pandemic. Later, they declared another pandemic sweeping across the globe. An infodemic. The spread of fake news and misinformation regarding health and well-being.
This publication is aimed at the public to help spread awareness and understand
the impact of health misinformation, pseudoscience and holistic medicine and treatments. Mirroring the current way misinformation distorts our perceptions, overwhelms us and creates uncertainty, ‘INFODEMIC’ creates a subversive reading experience.
